We have no doubt that Ukraine today is at the cutting edge of time, and the future is being created right here and now. Ten years ago, Ukrainians decided that they did not want to be the object of history, and chose to be its authors. Since then, as Pavlo Kazarin, one of the authors of this issue aptly notes, we have been living in conditions of constant rate increases. And despite the fact that the enemy has been trying to destroy us all these 10 years, we not only fight him back, but also grow.
The concept of "citizenship" has acquired a new meaning. More and more Ukrainians are consciously taking responsibility for their country and their future. We do more, trust more, support each other more. How do we do it? What does the nation have to overcome on this path of maturing? What is the key trait that helps us persevere?
We search for answers traditionally through human stories, reports, essays and documentary photography. Among the authors of this issue: Andriy Lyubka, Vera Kuriko, Eduard Andryushchenko, Iryna Slavinska, Serhiy Zhadan, Mykhailo Palinchak, Danylo Pavlov, Vladyslav Musienko and others.
