Our history
In May 2022, three people — Pharmacist, Giaconda, and Diver — laid the foundation for a unit that, for the third year in a row, together with other UAV units, has been making hell for the occupiers.
From the first steps in FPV drone piloting and engineering to a powerful combat battalion within the Defense Forces with over 200 soldiers — such was the path of ASGARD, whose work changed the course of the war and the course of battle.
At first, the idea of using FPV as a weapon caused skepticism and outright resistance. But for the founders of ASGARD, difficult does not mean impossible. With strong motivation and understanding of the potential of FPV, they were able to gather a team of like-minded people and, using their own resources, created a unit that provides air protection for infantry, turning the sky into a bridgehead for destroying the enemy.
ASGARD became one of the founders of the use of drones in war: we were the first to launch an aerial repeater system, which allowed us to strike the enemy at a distance of 20 km from the LBZ. The equipment was fired directly at the occupiers' PDD.
Our solutions are adopted by other effective units, and our experience has become a standard in many brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including: TERRA 3rd Special Forces Brigade, 28th Special Forces Brigade, 24th Artillery Special Forces Brigade, 5th Special Forces Brigade, 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade, Special Forces Brigade of the National Police "Lyut", Tactical Group "Adam", and others. ASGARD tactics force the enemy to retreat in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, and Kharkiv sectors of the front, complicate logistics, and freeze advancement and any assault operations.
We have gone through a difficult process of formation, proven our effectiveness, survived the crisis and became even stronger. Today, ASGARD is part of the 412th Nemesis Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces. The permanent commander is the Pharmacist.
ASGARD is not just a combat battalion. It is the foundation of Ukraine's drone history and one of the powerful mechanisms working towards a great common goal.
