TITANS are yesterday’s doctors, drivers, mechanics, students, teachers, businessmen, janitors, supermarket cashiers, and postal workers. Ordinary people who, in the country’s darkest hour, made a choice—to stand up and defend the right to live and to choose their future freely. And, of course, they are the soldiers who welcomed them into their ranks, training them in everything they knew so they could stand shoulder to shoulder in defense of their home.
Above all, they are people — who love life and have dreams just like anyone else. They gave a part of themselves for this and have returned.
And not to be made to feel like outcasts among their fellow citizens. They push themselves beyond limits to rebuild their lives and deserve to be treated as equals. Don’t forget that.
