From King Henry IV of Bourbon to John Kennedy, from Empress Elizabeth of Austria, who was called the most beautiful woman of the 19th century, to the fighters for the independence of Ukraine in the 20th century — Simon Petlyura, Yevhen Konovalts, and Stepan Bandera.

The author of the book tries to figure out what caused these crimes: politics or the economy, which is falling into the abyss, ideological or religious struggle. Or is this just an attempt to leave such a bloody "trace in history"? However, of course, nothing happens just like that.
